October is Youth Substance Use and Substance Misuse Prevention Month, a great opportunity to remind ourselves that prevention starts with connection. Parents and caregivers play an important role in helping young people make healthy choices by talking openly about alcohol, vaping, prescription medications, and other substances.

The Champlain Valley Education Association (CVEA) and Champlain Valley School District (CVSD) school board are pleased to announce the ratification of the Education Support Professionals collective bargaining agreement for the 2026-27 and 2027-28 school years.

Champlain Valley School District is excited to announce that Angela Filion has been named Interim Director of Student and Community Engagement. Angela is currently the principal of Williston’s Allen Brook School and will begin the school year at ABS before transitioning into her new role.
